Yeeouzza - lQQk it that fancy foot work (2nd tune) - the first song was the theme from Fellini's La Dolce Vita
My two uncles ran Seeberg Jukes for my Aunt Rose
(Mom's bro and Rose's bro) - she used to type in the song titles for the old machines -- that's where I got my old C. Berry (Chess) and Little Richard (Speciality) Eddie Cochran (Liberty) Jerry Lee Lewis (Sun). I got Lonnie Mack "Wham" Duane Eddy, Steve and Edie My father used to be President of a Men's Social Club (bar and back room(s):p) and two halls for banquets, receptions &c. The top Hall was pretty hot, full stage, high ceiling and could seat 500 very comfortably - So when i was a little kid (8 thru 10?) I used to help out at weddings, picking up glasses getting ice, mopping up, trying to scope some bend over boobies in the kitchen >;D when I got older I used to tend bar, tap kegs, mix drinks (I hated it; worst thing you can do for your knees and back) - Although Uncle John died in 1957 - this was one of his favorites (My other Uncle Mic was married to Mom's sister Mary - just like Long Tall Sally) They were still playing this song at these weddings -
Tip O'Neil used to sing this one on the floor of the House when he was Speaker
Sorry About the Volume on this next one? You have to turn it up - I got all nostalgic about Hoffman dying says he lasted until 102 because he Loved his wife so much she died and then he died - same exact thing with my grandfather he was 93 or somethingBut this song? This guy I tripped with occasionally played this one time after we all came down. The Landing was the important part ... so I always remember this. But Mic he's still alive in Florida he's 100 or close to. He was the C & W guy. I was jealous of my Littlel kids best friend Rick Mecca becasue he knew all the Rock n Roll songs when we were about 4 - just before Kindergarten (Our teacher just died last month) I remember my Uncle telling me one time, I asked him you got the Wabash Cannonball by Red Foley he goes O geez wait a minute here this guy mentions it on this one
So before you young uns start the dis on Country music check out some Roy Acuff he was the best (Hank Snow ... I can't remember all the others) - Uncle Mic gave me my first guitar a National Steel with the Hawaii Trees - and that's part how i learned - and Then - I then I found the Blues Guys
I wonder where the hell mine is !!I traded it for dope
