Bold As Love
Anger, he smiles,
towering in shiny metallic purple armour
Queen Jealousy, envy waits behind him
Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy groundBlue are the life-giving waters taken for granted,
They quietly understand
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on
But they’re all bold as love, yeah, they’re all bold as love
Yeah, they’re all bold as love
Just ask the axisMy red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war,
and ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young, full of daring,
But very unsteady for the first go round
My yellow in this case is not so mellow
In fact I’m trying to say it’s frigthened like me
And all these emotions of mine keep holding me from, eh,
Giving my life to a rainbow like you
But, I’m eh , yeah, I’m bold as love
Yeah, yeah
Well I’m bold, bold as love (hear me talking, girl)
I’m bold as love
Just ask the axis (he knows everything)
Yeah,
yeah,
yeah!

I was hunting for a place to message you from here..alas..was sidetracked..by your post..I love this song..It should be a “featured question” …what are your colors and who are they to you..some thing along those lines..:)
Thanks for the reply ..on your blog..I do not flatter..( just so you know) …pointless such things..even if yearned for…so much more depth in true compliments and validation when recognized don’t you agree?
The dance world can jade one..and cool their hearts to appear as moving stone…isolation and jelousy ..or via jelousy surely adds to the cool demeaner of many “in the arts” …their loss though any can play at aloofness long enough to make a appearance..perhaps that is why your smiles surprize me..
off to find that message thing* ha* and wishing oh so wishing…some secrets were never told….
Adagio…mmm…where “falling in love” if oft found.
I love Fellini’s work too! Satyricon bothered me to the degree I couldnt finish my popcorn..lol….much later I watched it again….sad to say..( too used to iimages of ever more hellish things I suppose) I saw how brave and avant guard he was for his time,,,,My fav is Roma..Oft in youth I yearned to be more like Anais Nin..I wish I could have met her..have all her diaries…first editions..( not signed/ but insightful for a woman in her time)…
Ok off to find the message..bit..Dance onward..:::::::::::::::……………
