Are you referring to Morrison’s choice to go ahead to use the word “higher” in the song after being asked to replace it?
Hhaha….yeah, Ed Sullivan was so miffed about that, that he didn’t go over and talk with them after the song, like he usually did with all that other artists that he had on his show.
@CEC32 - Actually, no, but it’s a nice touch and is most definitely an ancillary point. I was discussing with Evie something about art and used or compared Morrison’s Power – a holler as a sort of release, emanating from the solar plexus, what Castanada has Don Juan describe in “Journey to Ixtlan” ~~~~~
